Empty Bowl 2019

Empty Bowl Hawai`i is a unique event where hundreds of artists and chefs collaborate to support food security and end hunger. Each purchase to this unique event includes tickets to redeem soup, tasty bites, bread and a handmade bowl.

New this year, all attendees will receive 3 food tickets–each ticket is good for either a soup with bread or a select few stations featuring tasty bites.

In addition to food, guests will enjoy live music by Coyne Street, and can also place bids in a robust silent auction.

Select from thousands of beautiful bowls created by local potters and community members Each bowl is meant as a keepsake to remind us of the reality that each day someone goes hungry and a bowl is left empty.

Aloha Harvest at the Farmers Market

Aloha Harvest has teamed up with Hawaii Farm Bureau to help the fight against food waste at farmers’ markets.

We rescue excess food from vendors and accept fresh food donations from market customers. Come say hello to the Aloha Harvest team at the Honolulu Farmers’ Market and KCC Farmers’ Market and see how you can help #wastelessfeedmore.

Honolulu Farmers’ Market:

Wednesdays, 4p – 7p, located at the Blasidell Center

KCC Farmers’ Market:

Saturdays, 8a – 11a located at Kapiolani Community College

Volunteers are always needed to help man the Aloha Harvest table at both farmers’ Markets.
