This September, "Give Aloha" at Foodland
Give Aloha has taken place at Foodland, Foodland Farms and Shop N Save each year since 1999. Since then, this program has raised more than $32.7 million for Hawaiʻi’s charities.
This year, Aloha Harvest has been selected as one of the charities that shoppers can contribute to upon checkout.
In addition to creating a simple donation method for community members, Foodland and Western Union Foundation, co-sponsors of Give Aloha, will match a portion of donations.
Donations can be made in the form of cash, check or credit card, and you must use your Maika’i card as well as our agency number- 78185. Please keep us in mind throughout September as you shop at these local stores! Mahalo!
COVID-19 Community-backed Fundraisers
• Combined Federal Campaign "Show the Love"
• First Hawaiian Bank’s Aloha For Hawaiʻi Campaign
We are grateful to be one of the nonprofits that will benefit from First Hawaiian Bank’s
$1 million Aloha For Hawaiʻi campaign.
Each time you support Oʻahu’s restaurant industry by ordering takeout or delivery using your FHB card, they will make a $1 donation to the Aloha for Hawaiʻi fund. This fund is supporting local nonprofits fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, including @alohaharvest, @cfshawaii, @hawaiimow, @hawaiifoodbank and more.
FHB will continue until they reach their goal of 1,000,000 takeout orders
and $1,000,000 for these selected nonprofits.
• Do Good. Be Kind
Do Good. Be Kind. is a company on a mission to spread positivity through uplifting and encouraging messaging.
They’ve recently launched a special edition “Together Tee” that “reminds us of our unity in the world and encourages brightness and joy.” They are donating $5 for every T-shirt sold to support Aloha Harvest , with a goal of raising $5,000 for our organization.
• Big Wave Risk Assessment Group
Big Wave Risk Assessment Group wants to help every surfer be as safe as possible in the line-up. Through ongoing training, resources, and events they work to educate surfers on the best practices to protect themselves and others in the waves.
In order to support our efforts during COVID-19, BWRAG is donating a portion of all sales from their Patagonia Capilene Performance shirt to Aloha Harvest.
