Every day, Aloha Harvest rescues an average of 6,106 pounds of food, working with 137 donors and delivering to 101 recipient agencies each month. Behind every one of those numbers is a simple but critical need: reliable transportation.
Our trucks are the backbone of this work. They connect surplus food to communities across O‘ahu, ensuring that good food reaches people instead of going to waste. But after years of constant pickups and deliveries, our fleet is beginning to break down. Without dependable vehicles, our ability to serve our partners, and our community, is at risk.
That’s why we launched Fuel the Rescue, a campaign to raise $120,000 to replace a vital truck in our fleet.
